Rad Therapy. Currently, there is not too many jobs for Nuc Med and MRI. Rad Therapist also get more money than the rest. Ultrasound is in demand now, but don’t get as much as Rad Therapist.
Please do not get radiography confused with Radiology. I am currently a Radiography student. I’m in my 3rd semester of school. I will finish school May 2008 and I want to start looking at different opportunities before graduation. I am willing to continue going school. Any helpful information is greatly appreciated. Thanks
I have been searching for programs here in LA regarding limited xray so I can just sit for the ARRT exams. So far I found one but it does not start till Feb 2010. Anybody know how to further the MRI career? What other certs can I take so that I’m advance in terms of skills? So far, nobody is really moving around for MR techs due to the economy.
this is for a school project and i need as accurate answers as possible please give links for information.
I’m interested in being an MRI tech and i want to know all the details. Someone told me that there is an 18 month course and after the school is over they place you in an office to work at. is this true? Please give me as much information about being an MRI tech as possible. Thank you.
The correct title is Radiologic Technologist and California has many schools, check out the link. www.csrt.org/schools.pdf
I know a high school diploma, but how many years of college? What courses will I have to take in college? How many degrees must I obtain?
Is there such a thing as an MRI doctor? Like for example, they tell the patients what is wrong with their X Rays and them, and then administer course of treatment.
If there is such a thing as an MRI Doctor, what is it called? I heard something that it could be related to a radiology doctor.
I live in Michigan and am interested in going to school to either work with CT scans or MRI scans, something like that. I don’t necessarily want to get into radiation. Does anyone know the degree I would need, and/or a good school to go to? I’d like to go somewhere with a 2 yr degree. Thanks in advance.
I thought it was MRI technician but thats the person who actually gives the MRI. I think its biomedical equipment technician but on the course descriptions from the schools it doesnt say mri. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get into this field?
Tech is easier and faster but long term, nursing will make you anywhere from 50% to 75% more money in your life time.
