i have heard that to be in the medical field, they do background checks before you can be certified. will i be able to get certified with this flaw in my background check? will i be wasting my time to go to school for this license?

Im a single mother of 2 with only a HS diploma. I need something that wont take a long time to accomplish that pays the best. I was looking at radiation therapy (just an associates makes 35,000 starting out) but Iv heard from a number of places that those jobs are scarce.

I want to be a MRI technician now, but i never took any classes in high school like chemistry, anatomy, calculus, none of that, will i still be able to be an MRI tech? And what are the steps i need to take to become a MRI tech. I just got accepted into a State University yesterday but on the letter it said that if i want to be accepted into the Radiologic Sciences program i need to do a separate application process is this normal for state schools and will i be okay without those classes or am i going to live under a bridge forever?!
I had a 4.0 in high school.

Although I am still suffering from PTSD from these events I would love it help people.

I love Y!A because I love giving others advice. When I leave school I’m thinking about Medical Radiation Therapy, Teaching or Social Work.

Although this is my last year of school and my life is pretty busy, I would really like to help people this year.

Could I offer my services to rape crisis, youthline etc?

I have no qualifications but I think I have great empathy and I enjoy working with people.

Would these groups appreciate the help, or am I just wasting my time?
