However, my conservative friend is a republican. He recently lost his job and needs an MRI on his knee but doesn’t have insurance because he cannot afford it.

I explained the current legislation plan for a public option and he said, “man i wish I could have that”. He was all for it.

Please comment if you think our insurance costs and medical bills could be better.

i graduated high school last year, but was forced to take a year off to work. now i cant help feeling a little stuck. i planned to become a radiologic technologist, but cant seem to find any schools in the area to apply to. i live in Scranton Pa, and have a car but cannot move too far out of the area at the moment for family reasons; surrounding cities are fine, but cant go out of state. if anyone knows of any good schools with this program, it would help give me a place to start and would be greatly appreciated!

I have spoken to many in the medical field such as nurses and respiratory therapist but none that deal with cancer patients on a regular basis; such as during their weeks/months of therapy.

I know that this is the field for me but some in-site, from someone that has experience in this field, ESPECIALLY if they have lost a close family member to cancer would be helpful. I just want to try to be as prepared as I can.

*Please I’m not looking for information on schooling, programs or training offered by any university or hospitals.
