I want to do ultra sonographer course from Toronto,Canada ,I donot know where to go.There is a big list of institutes, which one to select, does some one have some personal experience?
I am thinking of goin to school for one of these careers. I only have two years available for school so these are the ones I am torn between. How much do they make? Is it a respectable job? How high is the demand? any kind of info helps. Thanks!
I’m interested in being an MRI tech and i want to know all the details. Someone told me that there is an 18 month course and after the school is over they place you in an office to work at. is this true? Please give me as much information about being an MRI tech as possible. Thank you.
I would also like the names an location of places with that program.
Currently,i’m studying to become a xray technologist.I am wondering if its best to keep going to school another 2 years or start working and be trained at the hospital one works at.Are there advantages or disadvantages.thanks
I would like to specialize in one of these but I couldn’t find any info by googling. The only thing I found was KU who has sonography and nuc med, but I’m not really interested in either of those. Anyone know?
Is there an MRI school in NYC? If not, where is the closest one in NJ?
I was born without a disc n my lower back and it’s getting worse and worse, I’m in pain all the time.
I have noticed that the graduating class at the local community college is having trouble finding jobs at the area hospitals. Also, there are no job listings for X-ray techs, CT techs, or MRI techs in my area. Is this a common theme in other regions? Are other rad tech schools still pushing through as many techs as possible even with the apparent downturn in postions due to CR and DR? Has anybody else witnessed this and is it just a cyclical occurrence? Thanks for any responses.
…… in his head. I’ve researched on the net and discovered that there is a chance for rebleeding. It sounds serious. He had an angiogram(?) today where they went through a vein in his groin to check the bleeding, if any. The hospital has been keeping his BP “high”, otherwise, they say he could have a stroke!
My concern is this: He has no family. NObody. Should I step in – as a friend – and try to get him qualified for medicaid as he has no steady job. He will be 62 yrs old in February.
Also, when he is released from the hospital, my husband and I were seriously considering bringing him to our home for a few days … just to make sure he’s ok. He’s a Vietnam War Vet. Could this brain surgery cause him to become violent or change his personality in any way?
I don’t know what to do! I just want to help him.
And, how would I know if he had “rebleeding” if he was here at our house? Symptoms?
Any help would be appreciated tremendously!
