I live in so. cal. and have been an x-ray tech for 2 years. I want to become a MRI tech ASAP.
Are there any places (hospitals or outpatient centers) that will give me on the job training?
Are they more likely to do this if I study for and pass the licensing exam on my own first?
Also, what are some good, reputable MRI school programs that give me my necessary clinical hours and prepare me for the test? I want to avoid expensive, unaccredited con-job schools like Crooks College, etc.

What classes do you have to take? What do you have to major in?
and What school can provide this carrer field with in San Antonio?
How long will it take to become the x ray specialist?
( if that’s what the job’s name is called)
I have more to ask but can’t remeber.

I graduated and accredited program in 2004, received my ARRT license in october 2006 and have not touched a patient or machine since my internship in 2004. Is there a chance that some one would hire me or should I give up? I have recently taken a mammography class and am studying for my state boards. Is there a chance for me or am I studying for nothing? If so, do you have any suggestions?

I’ve recently graduated with a GED and looking for a career in diagnostic medical sonography or ultrasound technology where can I find a school that offers and associates degree in this field in New York? In any of the 5 boroughs…….. my internet search has not been very successful and really want to find something asap

I am looking for a school to do ultrasound but I want a Bachelor’s program, bot associates! I am in the Nashville area right now and I know Vanderbilt has a program , but does anyone know anywhere else on the east coast?
