I work full time Mon., Tues, Thurs. & Fri. until 6 p.m. I live in Danbury, CT and am looking for schools or hospitals that offer either of these programs on weekends or nights, but I’m having no luck finding anything. None of the CT Community Colleges offer any weekend classes and the latest classes are at 4pm, which wouldn’t work. Thanks in advance!

i got a class b misdemeanor in texas 5 years ago for a non violent crime, and no drugs were involved. it was not a sex crime.

i have heard that to be in the medical field, they do background checks before you can be certified. will i be able to get certified with this flaw in my background check? will i be wasting my time to go to school for this license?

I want to go into the healthcare field I’m only working part-time now and can’t afford to major in something that will be of no use to me in the immediate future. I was leaning towards an associates Health Info Technology (i.e. coding) but the demand for nurses is high also. I really want to go into radiology though. What will get me working the fastest so that i can continue a more advanced degree.

I have a criminal record, a misdemeanor for possesion and I have hinder appreheshion not sure if its a felony or not, but I want to get into the medical field as an xray tech and not sure if I can get cert for it?

Physical demands of being a radiology student/radiology tech?

I am beginning my first year in radiology school this summer. In the Fall I will start my clinicals and am wondering the physical demands of studying and training to become a rad tech.

Do rad techs lift the patients?
If so, do they lift them alone?
Is there heavy equipment I will need to lift?
Are there any physically strenuous activities I will do?
What sort of physical shape do you need to be in?

hi there! i was accepted into an art institute for audio production for August, and now literally 3 weeks before classes started i chickened out. I want to be a MRI technician now, but i never took any classes in high school like chemistry, anatomy, calculus, none of that, will i still be able to be an MRI tech? And what are the steps i need to take to become a MRI tech. I just got accepted into a State University yesterday but on the letter it said that if i want to be accepted into the Radiologic Sciences program i need to do a separate application process is this normal for state schools and will i be okay without those classes or am i going to live under a bridge forever?!
I had a 4.0 in high school.
