I’m applying for a radiology program and it requires that I at least make a 61% on the pre-alg portion. The first time I took it, I got a 60. Being 1 point away, I took it again and got a 46. Now I have one more chance to take it before this coming Friday. If I don’t pass, I can’t apply. Knowing that my most hated subject (practically since 3rd grade) will determine my future is making me sick. Are there any websites that have decent pre-alg practice problems? Advice? Thanks!

What are some good schools in Chicago? How much will it cost? Can you give me a quick description of what a Radiology Technologist does in a day? What aspects do you like or dislike about the job?

was hit head on 2 years ago when a woman crossed the center line in Delaware. The police report stated she was 100% at fault, she was driving her sisters car on a suspended license (her 4th offense), and she gave a false name at the scene. I was taken by ambulance to the ER and released that night. No severe injuries- had 1 orthopedic dr visit for my badly bruised knee, 3 months of chiropractic treatment, and my emergency room treatment (cat scan, xrays, etc). My total medical bills were 14k, my car was totaled and I received 7k for that. It has been over 2 years and the case is still open. The first offer from the insurance company was 12k, and the most recent was 16k. My attorney will get 30% and my medical bills will still need to be paid. I feel that I should get more money since they are not giving me anything for the emotional distress this has caused the last 2+ years. Plus my unpaid medical bills were turned over to debt collectors, which made my credit take a beating. This all seems so unfair for something that could have been so easily prevented if she had obeyed the law and respected the fact that she had a suspended license. My attorney is advising me to take the 16k, but he hasn’t been very helpful this entire time. Don’t I stand a better chance of getting more for everything that I have been through if I go to court? I’m unsure what to do at this point. I’m not out to get rich, but expect a fair settlement as well.

My daughter will be getting out of prison soon and wants very badly to be an Ultrasound tech at an Oklahoma hospital. She would like to train in Oklahoma could someone tell me the college(s) where Ultrasound is taught and how an ex-felon (drugs) would fare in that training and on the job?

Is AP Biology a good class to take in high school if I am going to major in Radiation Therapy in college?

I’m not sure whether or not to take AP Biology because I will definitely have a lot of stuff on my plate for my senior year. I don’t know if it would be helpful in my studying during college making it easier…? Should I DEFINITELY take this class or will it just be a waste of my time?

I am a licensed radiographer, I recently graduated but I am having a bit of trouble finding a job in south florida. It is very saturated here and I would like to start studying for MRI and CT but not sure where to take those classes. Help? Thanks
