I’m looking for schools with courses in genetic sonography/diagnostic sonography/ultraSound technology some where in central/southern California. Also, If one of these is your professions, it would really help me to know how much your tuition was&how long the education process took.

Radiologic Tech Wants To Be Specialized In Sonography/ultrasound..?

I’m working towards a career to become a Radiologic Tech but, I truly want to specialize in Ultrasound. How do I go about doing so? Is it on hands training or do I need to continue my education after rad-tech school to become an ultrasound tech?
I was told to become an ultrasound tech you have to go to one more year of school.
I learned that most places would perfer someone with a rad tech background then get specialized in Ultrasound rather than go straight to a school that offers Sonograpy…
Please help!! Any Rad-techs specializing in Ultrasound???

I’ ve been looking at schools In GA for ultrasound/sonography and the schools I Viewed have certain prerequisites to accuire.Are there any technical schools or classes that offer these courses?I have my highschool Diploma, but my gpa is below some standards.Will that matter ?
