I am looking into studying medical radiation in university to become a ultrasound technician for pregnant women. I am only in the 10th grade but I need to look up the thing that I have to take in grade 11 and 12 so that I can apply for these courses. It says I need to take:
-English U, Advanced Functions U, Biology U, Chemistry U and Physics.
I was wondering if anyone can help me with a few things.

1. what does “U” stand for after all of the courses.
2. How are the courses in university ?? are they hard, fun, boring .. etc ??
3. Is it easy to find a job?

It’s not actually my graduation, its my moving up ceremony. but i need to dress nice, either dress pants, a skirt, or a dress. not sure what colors/styles are appropriate here.

What courses should I take?? Im a single mother of 2 with only a HS diploma. I need something that wont take a long time to accomplish that pays the best. I was looking at radiation therapy (just an associates makes 35,000 starting out) but Iv heard from a number of places that those jobs are scarce.
Please can anyone give me some answers? A link? A suggestion lol anything!

Medical School Majors? Pre-Med.? HELP!?

I’m going to St. Louis University this fall and I’m going into Pre-Med. But I have to of course choose another major.

I’ve been considering:

1. Clinical Laboratory Science
2. Classical Humanities
3. Radiation Therapy

I don’t want to go into Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry – I don’t want to limit myself to that.

Please, some advice… I want to be a doctor. After my first 4 years, my goal is to go to Washington University in St. Louis, Harvard, Northwestern or Duke… get it?

PLEASE HELP!

Ok so im about to graduate high school soon. I want to become a doctor. I have a 4.0 GPA in high school and im taking advanced placement classes. IB biology, and IB math, and anatomy. I Want to be a doctor so my question is…………..what’s the best undergraduate degree to get that PREPARES you for MED school but also is good just in case you don’t get accepted into med school or something, so you have a backup career. I’m interested in any career in science that provides a good career and excellent knowledge for the MCAT and med school.

Is radiation therapy good? Or biotechnology? Or nursing? Which one would allow me to finish my Bachelors in 4 years on TIME?

Or please recommend me some undergrad degrees. I KNOW ALREADY, that you can major in whatever you want as long as you have the prerequisites, i just want to know the science undergraduate degrees that can provide a job. Be specific please
