The Radiology school I’m in now has assigned a summer project and end of summer presentation of the importance of diagnostic radiation w/ an area of your choice. Which many of us are using disorders and diseases that are diagnosed by using radiology. I want to do some sort of degenerative joint or bone disorder and throw the effects that radiation can have on the bone and how it can not only diagnose the disease but in other ways radiation can cause it ( ex. radiation therapy or overexposer) Anyone have a good example of a disease I could use. I’m not sure whether degenerative joint disease would be a good one? HELP! PLEASE!

I am interested in becomingd a radiologic tech but i am not exactly sure on how to do this. I heard that a radiologic tech and branch off to mri or cat scans. I heard the a RT that branches off and goes to MRI can make 83k a year in cali fornia, is this true? and is this right out of school when they make that much or is it after working as MRI RT for like 20 years? I was also wondering , say if i become an RT, do i just take the classes at the hospital that i work at to get my MRI License? or how does this work? its it really hard to become an RT with mri license and is there alot of math involved?
