Dental assistant wants to know what salary to ask for?

What salary should one ask for when interviewing for a position. I have some experience in the field but I am currently still learning. However, I do have my radiology license to take x-rays what is a reasonable salary to ask for?

Need to know if a college will accept a College Algebra credit past the 7 year deadline?

I’m taking prerequisites right now so I can apply for a radiation therapy program in a couple of years. One of the prerequisites is College Algebra & Trigonometry. The math credit cannot be more than 7 years old. I took College Algebra, but when I apply for the program it will have been 8 yrs since I took that course. The prereq info states that it has to be taken within the past 7 yrs. Do you think that it is possible for the college to overlook that one year past deadline & I can still be eligible? Or will I have to take College Algebra all over again? Has anyone had experience with this before? Please help! I don’t want to call the school and just speak to someone that will just give me the “general policy” info.

I need to know between the nursing and radiology which one is better or I can make more money. or Ultrasound ?

I’m currently a sophomore in a traditional university at Florida Gulf Coast University. I’m a psychology major. Up until a few weeks ago, I was sure this is what I wanted to do. Now I don’t. I really want to work full-time and become some kind of technician online, I’ve been looking at Ultrasound technicians and Radiology technicians, and veterinary technicians. All three of these careers have online degrees available. I live in Naples, FL. My questions are:

1. Which online school is reputable that most employers hold in high regard?
2. At the end of this year, I will have 58 credit hours, will these count towards online programs?
3. If you are currently or have already pursued an online degree – what was your experience & with which school? Did it allow you to easily get a job?

Any suggestions are helpful.

PS (don’t have to read this) Also, I am going to schedule an appointment with my academic adviser, but I’m afraid the person will be biased. And I’ve thought my decision over a lot. The only school near me with a grad program in psychology offers only one in counseling with a K salary locally – with a masters, that is too low. I have prior commitments to this area that I am not willing to sacrifice to move for this career.

i’m going to the university of south Alabama now where you go 2 years for a certificate and 2 more to specialize in sonography, managment, radiation therapy, MRI….etc. i’m just wanting to explore my options of different schools… any suggestions?
