And can someone please explain to me all of the things that x-ray techs do.
I was born without a disc n my lower back and it’s getting worse and worse, I’m in pain all the time.
I’m looking to change careers into the medical field and I am very interested in being a MRI, CT, or Xray tech. However I can not quit my full-time day job because it does pay me good money. Any ideas?
There are two seperate interviews at different hospitals.
What type of experience or skills should I stress?
thats it. I’ll be graduating in 2009 and im interested in becoming an ultrasound technician. Im looking for schools on long island (preferably suffolk county).
I currentley work as an administrative assistant which pays lousy unless you have a BA. Last year I returned to school after 10 years (I’m 35). I want to start a new career asap as I am a single mom with 3 kids and time is tight. I was considering nursing because I like working around people but I got kind of turned off from hearing about all of the gross stuff you see/clean up etc. So now I am considering a career as an Sonographer. I wonder if I will be able to get a job if the school is not ADRMS accredited. There are only two accredited schools where I live and they are really far. What about career college etc? Any suggestions on other careers in healthcare? I have no experience in this field but I am a decent math and science student.
Also, is there an ultrasound school in Missouri?
