Can you be a dental assistant without a certificate?

I am certified in CPR. I have a dental radiology license and take continuing education courses. I just want to know if I am doing this legally. I personally feel I have more knowledge than some of the people they are hiring from dental school. I take my job very seriously.

Help! A degree in Radiography plus a certificate in Radiation Therapy or a degree in Radiation Therapy?

I’m so confused . I’m looking to start a new career and am interested in Radiation Therapy. The school I’m looking at offers an associates degree in Radiography, Radiation Therapy, and Radiation Therapy Specialist.

When researching, some say you should get a degree in Radiography and then a certificate in Radiation Therapy Specialist, others say to just go for the degree in Radiation Therapy. :/

Will going for Radiography plus RT certificate would offer more opportunities?
If I went just for the RT degree, will it be more difficult to find a job?
What are the pros and cons for each?

What’s type of radiology certificate would you get if you wanted to do brain imaging?

I currently have a Bachelor’s degree and am planning to get a Masters degree in psychology. I am very interested in neurological research and would like to be involved in it… I was thinking about getting a radiology certificate so that I could perform brain imaging. I could also get a radiology job while completing my degree. What kind of certificate do you need to do fMRIs, CAT scans, etc? Any reccomendations?

I looking at this school for Dental Assisting and it states that “The graduating student will be able to receive a Dental Radiology Certificate from The Ohio State Dental Board” so do I need a certificate or a Dental Radiology license to be able to do Radiology as a Dental Assistant or does it matter?

There is a school that just opened near my area that takes 22 months to become an MRI Technologist. The only drawback is that I will not get a certificate in Radiologic technology. Therefore I will not be able to give x-rays.
Should I consider this program? I’ve applied to a few Radiologic Technicians schools already, but the wait list is ridiculously long.

I’m almost finished with my radiologic technology schooling from an accredited program and I’m looking for somewhere to receive a MRI certificate. Is there really that many out there, or is it mostly on the job training? I’m going into radiation therapy in a few years, but would like to have the ability to work in the MRI field in the mean time. I’m looking for locations near Toledo, Ohio and Pensacola, Florida. Any help is appreciated, I can’t find anything specific in google searches where it just brings up x-ray tech schools. Thanks!

The school I’m looking at has radiography science degree for radiologic technologists and then afterwards you can get into a sonography program for an advanced certificate. They also have a bachelor’s degree for sonography. If you can’t tell, I really want to be a sonographer! I just don’t know which route to take, would I be more valuable to a future employer to get a radiography degree first or does it matter?
