I am interested in becoming an ultrasound tech, but there are a lot of ‘bogus’ schools out there. I need to know which one sare the real deal, accredited, and whose credentials are generally accepted by medial facilities.

What can be done to shut down some of the schools and programs pumping out too many students?

The only ultrasound schools I know in the DC are Sandford Brown.

Is it all about just trying to get a persons $ for tuition, parking, books etc.?
Or is it about the employers purposely opening too programs resulting in decreased wages, and increased unemployment?

I am interested in Radiology Technology. However, I would like to know how attainable this is, school-wise. For the rad tech students out there (or used to be), how is/was your schooling like? Is/Was it hard? How likely do the instructors fail students during clinical rotations? Or are/were they supportive and would help you even when you’re failing? Thanks!
