Scaphoid Fracture Question?

A month ago i was riding my bike and i fell off on my left hand(outstretched) i went to the clinic and the doctor put it in a cast for one week and then after one week they X-rayed it, then it took them four and a half weeks to say that they couldn’t tell if it was broken through the cast so yesterday they took it off and i went to radiology to get it X-rayed again and we had to bring the results to the doctor but it was on just normal paper.My problem is that he said we were free to go in 5 seconds after looking my hand hurts really bad when i bend my wrist and push it is horrible do you think he missed something? iam 13(female)(the X-ray was on NORMAL paper)
Hi sweetie I do believe they may have missed something because your body is telling you that it’s hurt.A hair line fracture is very hard to see on X-ray film it’s better to see what’s wrong with a MRI.You may want to suggest to your parents that a second opinion from another doctor would really help you all figure out what is hurting.
Sounds like the doctor, clinic, radiologist are all morons … go somewhere else to get satisfaction; and then contact an attorney and sue their butts off for pain, suffering, and anguish. I am not an attorney, but I broke my ankle 10 weeks ago and the attending doctor knew it was broken, from the x-ray taken 20 minutes prior.
