Is It Weird To Ask My Doctor If I Can Get A Mri Done?

I am 21… Since middle school I’ve always said I don’t feel right. I use to joke about a brain tumor but sometimes I think I really do have one.Lately I have had more and more headaches like 4 times out the week that sometimes don’t go away with Medicine. my vision is good except one eye is 20/20 and the other is 20/40. You don’t usually see that. I tend to get dizzy a lot or my vision gets a little cloudy. Should I ask my psychian can I get a MRI just for a check up????

No one knows you better than you. If you feel something is not right you need to insist that the doctor keep looking. Have an MRI or whatever may tell you what is wrong. I had bad pain that I thought was migraines. We treated it like it was and nothing helped. Come to find out it was due to degenerative disc disease. Surgery took all the pain away. Doctors only know what we tell them about our bodies. Good luck.

You should tell your doctor the problems that you are having and express your concerns. The doctor may have tests done or something. Even if there is nothing wrong, at least you’ll feel better knowing that.

i dont think its weird, you seem to have reason to believe that you need one, sometimes you have to remind doctors about things or at least let them know that your willing to do a test.they dont hurt,by the way, good luck and GOD BLESS!!!
