I’m Trying To Find Out The Title Of Jobs That These Tasks Relate Too.?
Tasks: Scanning images of the brain to look for anything like drug damage to cancer?
Scans of the brain in an MRI setting
Scans of the brain in a cat scan setting
Any kind of job that scans brains, and list the job(s?) . Thanks
I’m interested in this because i’m 22 yrs old and wanting to start college. I also have used alot of drugs therefore I have contemplated of what my brain looks like and studying the brain in any kind of way even without it being drug related is interesting to me

It sounds like you want to be a tech in a hospital for radiation or ultrasound equipment. Mind you, these foks are not allowed to give diagnosis, they just do the scan, ensure it comes out good enough to read, and give it to the doc.

.
Neurology is the job itself process
Neurologist is what the doctor that performs that job is
radiologic technologist. You need to be this before doing CT’s or MRI’s. Usually those are on the job training. But there are a few schools (usually online) that offer classes for MRI and CT. Although you still need to do competencies to get certified to do either of these through the ARRT. Some states allow you to perform these modalities without being certified (like me, I’m an RT(R), but I also do CTs)
PS..there is also PET, its a combo of CT and Nuc Med (nuc med requires two years of school also and you dont have to be a rad tech).
