If I Go To A Tech School And Get Certified As An X-ray Or Ultrasound Tech Will I Find A Job?

I do not have a degree. I am interested in ultrasound or x=ray, but at a Technical College, where I don’t have to take a regular college courses. So, if I go to a Tech and get certified would I be able to find a job, or do companies require a 2 year degree?

You will find a job as a x-ray tech either at a clinic or hospital. There is a strong demand especially for those who know how best to get a good picture. From there, you can work with your employer to get additional training to advance your career. As long as you have the proper training, can do the job, and are willing to work (show up on time, take initiative, get along with co-workers and patients) you’ll do great. And no, a two year degree is not always required (depends on where you live and what work is being done).
Go luck to you and I am confident you’ll do well if your willing to make the effort.

well if you get certified you will get a job, there is always a need for nurses/doctors/x-ray technicians.
i recommend you go somewhere for a interview (or just go up to the desk and ask ), and see what their requirements are because that will probably be the same everywhere else.

X-ray techs are pretty high in demands, so that is a good field to go into. You can always try Urgent Care clinics. They are on the rise and they perform x-rays on EVERYBODY that comes in!
