In the Fall I will start my clinicals and am wondering the physical demands of studying and training to become a rad tech.

Do rad techs lift the patients?
If so, do they lift them alone?
Is there heavy equipment I will need to lift?
Are there any physically strenuous activities I will do?
What sort of physical shape do you need to be in?

Any tips on what to expect?
I am 36 and extremely focused on getting in and studying is not a problem for me. I should have a 3.75 GPA at the end of this semester – and that is cumulative – I just am not sure what to expect for the school!
