i have to get an MRI right after school but i wear my contacts everyday.. will they make me take them out for the MRI

I have reasearched about ultra sonographer schools and understood that i have to get a bacholor’s degree and then do the certifications but i found another school in the area which offers the program for 18 months and they will prepare for tha ARDMS and AART exams..are these the only certifications i need for this specific job title?
which pays more and which one is more intresting sonoraphy or MRI technolist?

Ok, so I’m about 99% sure that I’m going to sign up for a radiologic technology program, and I am torn between a further concentration in nuclear medicine or MRI. I have a bachelors in psych and we reviewed many studies which used nuclear medicine scans of the brain which were amazing, and I work in a hospital, so I have encountered many MRIs. Both produce vivid images, but which is better to do as a career? or is it easier to find job placement by staying as an xray tech? Difference in salary??

How do I look at or extract MRI’s and X-Ray images from a disc?

I have a whole pile of discs containing medical data like images from MRI’s and X-Rays and Doctor’s reports. However, I have no idea how I can go about and extracting and/or viewing this data. I am talking with Doctors overseas as well as online medical forums for a deeper perspective on my medical condition. Both the Doctor and the forum of people have asked for images of my MRI’s and X-Rays but I’m not sure how to extract and explore them. Do I need a special program that Doctor’s have? Is this DICOM program piratable? Is it simpler than that, like I just extract the images and send it? Any input is very helpful thanks in advance!

I’m thinking about doing it at a hospital, since I volunteer there, I have connections.
Also, do you think I could possibly network during the job shadowing day and maybe land a internship as a high school junior for my next semester of school?

I am in a medical club at school and I’m in a medical class as well.

Could that be possible?

Geek Squad’s MRI Cd in a computer?

My friend sent his computer to best buy to get a software problem fixed and they couldn’t fix it, so he gave the computer to my brother to fix and he fixed it…. my brother told me that the “dumb**”s at Geek Squad left there MRI Cd in his computer” this was like a month ago….

… recently i went into his room and he had a program running on a computer with the geek squad logo on it. i asked him if he didn’t return the cd and he said “I got the iso off then cracked the security on it and returned the original” whatever that means… anyways my question is that my brother uses that program to fix a lot of peoples computers for free.. is this illegal? What should i do? Is it okay? because i asked him if it was illegal and he just said something like “Doesn’t matter if its legal, it matters if its ethical. Geek Squad charges outrageous for services that require no talent or skill set to use… its that ethical?”

Part of me doesn’t want to say anything but idk.

help I want to go into the health field and i am currently in arizona going to a community college that does not offer the programs but i don’t know how long i am going to be in az i am planning on moving to Massachuetts wihtin the next year or so and would like to know if there are any good schools in arizona so i can start the program here and finish it in Massachuetts if i move before i finish the program>

so ne help in finshing a good school for the field below are welcomed? yes i have looked online and asked but the answers i recieved have not been very helpful and the people i have asked only knew about arizona schools,

hi there! i was accepted into an art institute for audio production for August, and now literally 3 weeks before classes started i chickened out. I want to be a MRI technician now, but i never took any classes in high school like chemistry, anatomy, calculus, none of that, will i still be able to be an MRI tech? And what are the steps i need to take to become a MRI tech. I just got accepted into a State University yesterday but on the letter it said that if i want to be accepted into the Radiologic Sciences program i need to do a separate application process is this normal for state schools and will i be okay without those classes or am i going to live under a bridge forever?!
I had a 4.0 in high school.

say you think you have an ankle sprain well thats what your trainer said at school and you’ve done all the icing and things for a whole month and you still have the same pain…of course you have to go to the doctor because obiously something is wrong wit it …but what should i get a X-Ray or an MRI?

I have been looking EVERYWHERE for information on what schools in Florida have Radiography programs. I mainly looking for schools that have MRI programs. Do you guys know any colleges? I really don’t want on-line colleges OR colleges that mainly have people over the age of 25 (i would rather interact with people my age). Thank-you guys soooooooo much in advance!!
