ok, so i got screwed and went to a school that was limited x-ray tech, but didnt find out until i was 75% done with the school year. i will be done in july, and was thinking of something with better pay, but in a way related to the field.
i was thinking about being a MRI technician. does anyone know how much they get paid? like an average salary? how is the demand for jobs?
not sure if this matters but i live in southern Ca.
I’d like to create either one for a school project, but I’m not sure if that’s economically possible. Any sites that have instructions on how to build a cheap one? It doesn’t have to be perfect.
Thanks.
I am thinking of goin to school for one of these careers. I only have two years available for school so these are the ones I am torn between. How much do they make? Is it a respectable job? How high is the demand? any kind of info helps. Thanks!
this is for a school project and i need as accurate answers as possible please give links for information.
I have heard of an MRI checking for brain damage. He has expressive language disorder, also problems with comprehension, retention of information, and receptive language. He is 5, still puts things in his mouth, cannot understand me sometimes. I’m scared hes misdiagnosed. No one will help. I have tried a Pediatrician (medi-cal) the school speech person, an aoption social worker, etc.
They all pass it onto someone else…. he’s falling WAY behind.
I went to the doctor and the MRI said I have a completely torn ACL. My options are as follows: I can get surgery to replace my ACL or I can work on physical therapy and try to continue wrestling, playing hockey, and playing ultimate frisbee with a torn ACL. Surgery would cause me to miss part of my junior year wrestling season, but without surgery the chances are very high that I could re-injure my knee.
Do u go to school for x-ray technology or is that different?
I can only find radolgy school in my area..is that the same thing?
I want to go to school for Radiologist or MRI Tech very soon… I want to know from someone that is working in this field if is worth my time or not….thanks.
I’m going to school to be a radiologic technologist.I’m interested in doing something else in medical imaging. How long does it take to learn mri and ultrasound.thanks a lot.
There is a school that just opened near my area that takes 22 months to become an MRI Technologist. The only drawback is that I will not get a certificate in Radiologic technology. Therefore I will not be able to give x-rays.
Should I consider this program? I’ve applied to a few Radiologic Technicians schools already, but the wait list is ridiculously long.
