Air Force, Is Radiology A Good Job If I Want To Leave Quick?

Also do any of you know of any good jobs that may allow you to leave relatively fast? Thanks to all.

Its not the type of job that determines whether you leave fast or not.
Its whether there is an immediate opening in that field. Any career field can be “fast” or “slow”.
Radiology is a rewarding job that pays well on the outside.
Don’t take the first thing that comes open unless its something you want. . . . it will impact the rest of your life, so choose wisely.

Medical jobs are taking forever right now unless you have a medical degree. There just don’t need as many radiologists as they do mechanics or electronics specialists.
Not sure about radiology specifically, but a lot of the medical jobs have low requirements so they tend to go to people who didn’t score very high on their ASVAB (I was annoyed about this because I’m studying pre-med and wanted to do histopathology.).

Just from what i seen most medical and admin jobs have a pretty long wait….where as most maintenance and operations jobs ship pretty fast…
A word of advise for you though…Dont pick a job based on your ship date. 4 years of a job you dont like isnt worth leaving 2 months early. Pick a job you want and wait it out. Thats what i done anyway.

As far as leaving fast, you will have at least 4 years to fulfill. Any medical job or communications(networking, computers) offer high employment after getting out. While you are in, focus on your job and go to all the schools you can get.
